Try to think like a visitor and predict what he is going to search. For example, If you are writing about affiliate web hosting offer targeting a specific company then you can write like “Hostgator Web Hosting Sale”.

In term of blogging, Post URL is called the Post Permalink. While creating Post Permalink, it is extremely important to keep On-Page SEO tactics in mind. We have to follow some important rules while creating permalink-
  • Post Permalink Length- When we write a post, we create an SEO friendly Title after that we should also make SEO friendly Post URL. According to on page seo rules, shorter and precise URL is better for ranking.
  • Insert Keyword in Permalink- Keywords in URL play an important role in ranking your content higher in search results. Use keywords related to the topic you are posting. This helps search engine to find your blog and its content easily.
  • Remove Stop Words- This is also an important factor for On Page Optimization. Words that are filtered out by Web search engines and other enterprise searching and indexing platforms are known as Stop Words. So stop using stop words in your post URL. This only helps you to make a lengthy URL which is not good.

3. Post Description

To display any post in search engine results, Post Description play an extremely important role. Because whenever a user searches a topic on search engine then the first thing he read is Post Description and then decide to open the web page or not. When a user do not open your web page from the search result and search engine start thinking that is not perfectly relatable to searched topic and then starts giving less preference to your post and this directly affect your ranking.
  • Use custom post description with precise targeted keywords
  • Post description minimum length must be 130 and maximum length must be 155 characters.

4. Keywords Density

While writing a post, most of the blogger does not think about Keywords Density. They keep using targeted keywords multiple numbers of times. Search engine starts thinking that you are doing keyword stuffing and starts marking your blog as a spam.
Therefore I want to tell you that keep your focus keyword between the range 1-2%. If your keywords density is above this then try to remove as soon as possible. Using keywords density above this will affect organic traffic.
